Lula: Flavio Bolsonaro cannot be trusted
Brasilia, October 21 (Hibya) - Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva criticized Flavio Bolsonaro over security policies, arguing that Bolsonaro could not be trusted to ensure the safety of families because of certain past actions and associations.
Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva targeted Senator Flavio Bolsonaro in his remarks on security.
Criticizing Bolsonaro's past actions, Lula said, "When it comes time to talk about security, Flavio Bolsonaro must explain his choices."
Lula alleged that Bolsonaro had honored a murderer and employed members of his family, allocated budget funds to a militia member linked to the murder of Marielle Franco, and defended the killer of five-year-old Ana Clara, who was killed in front of her home.
Continuing his criticism of Bolsonaro based on these allegations, Lula stated, "How can we entrust the protection of families to someone with such a past? Flavio Bolsonaro cannot be trusted."
