Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

French President Emmanuel Macron made a statement regarding the content of his conversation with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Referring to regional security issues, Macron said, "First of all, we discussed the situation in the Near and Middle East; we underlined the importance of the ceasefire in Lebanon and its implementation, the protection of freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, and the need for a strong and lasting diplomatic solution."

Drawing attention to the efforts being carried out to end the war in Ukraine, Macron said, "We discussed the situation in Ukraine and our joint work within the Coalition of the Willing to contribute to the search for a just and lasting peace; this peace must necessarily be in line with the principles of the UN Charter and be supported by strong security guarantees for Ukraine."

Emphasizing the South Caucasus peace process and the upcoming summit, Macron stated the following:

"In particular with regard to the European Union Summit to be held in Yerevan on May 4, I reiterated France's support for the peace process in the South Caucasus, which will allow the region to open a new page with open borders and strengthened regional cooperation.

Macron concluded his statement by saying, "Finally, we agreed on the need to continue deepening our dialogue and bilateral cooperation."
