Metsola: Multilateralism is more important than ever
New York, September 21 (Hibya) - European Parliament President Roberta Metsola said they began the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly with a meeting with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
European Parliament President Roberta Metsola made a statement regarding her meeting with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in New York.
Metsola said, “In New York, we are beginning the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly with a productive meeting with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.”
Stating that Europe believes in the power of working together, Metsola said that in a more unpredictable world, multilateralism is more important than ever.
Metsola thanked the United Nations and the European Parliament for their successful cooperation.
