European Parliament President Roberta Metsola met with local artists on the Maltese island of Gozo.

In a post about her visit, Metsola expressed her pleasure at spending time with local artists, saying, “We continue to keep our history, culture and traditions alive.”

Metsola said the European Parliament would continue to stand by artists who contribute to cultural production, adding, “It will continue to support the people who bring culture to life.”

Metsola also highlighted the importance of passing the stories and traditions that shape societies on to future generations, emphasizing that support for preserving cultural heritage would continue.
