Pakistan’s Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar announced that he had departed from Madinah for Pakistan following his visits to Jordan and Saudi Arabia.

Dar said that during his engagements in Jordan, they reiterated their support for the Palestinian people and their right to establish an independent and sovereign State of Palestine.

Emphasizing that Al-Quds Al-Sharif should be the capital of the State of Palestine, Dar drew attention to the special significance of occupied East Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque for Muslims.

Dar said his visit to Saudi Arabia was important both spiritually and strategically, noting that the Trilateral Makkah Joint Defence Agreement signed between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye had opened a new chapter in the strategic partnership among the three countries.

Dar said the agreement would strengthen their shared commitments to peace, security and stability, adding: “It opens an important new chapter in our bonds of brotherhood, our strategic partnership and our shared commitment to peace, security and stability.”

Dar also referred to the religious observances he performed during his visit to Saudi Arabia. He said he visited the Two Holy Mosques, performed Umrah and offered prayers at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah, describing the experience as one of profound spiritual significance.

The Pakistani minister said, “It was a profound spiritual blessing,” and prayed for Allah to protect Pakistan and its people.

Dar concluded his statement by saying: “May Almighty Allah bless Pakistan, protect our people and guide us in our service to our nation. Ameen.”
