Montenegrin President Jakov Milatovic said that he met with Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski in New York and that they discussed continued support for Ukraine and relations between the two countries.

Milatovic announced that Zelenski's planned visit to Montenegro was also discussed during the meeting.

Milatovic said that at the Sixth Summit of the International Crimea Platform, he emphasized that Montenegro stands with the Ukrainian people, adding, “I stated that we support their struggle for freedom, sovereignty and the right to determine their own future.”

Milatovic said that support for Ukraine would continue, stating, “Our support for Ukraine continues resolutely and consistently until a just and lasting peace is achieved.”
