Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha made a statement together with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas and French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot ahead of the UN Security Council meeting on Ukraine.

Sybiha said that 51 UN member states had come together on the issue of Ukraine, stating, “Ukraine accepted a full, immediate and unconditional ceasefire in March 2025. Together, we call on Russia to finally do the same and seriously engage in diplomacy.”

Sybiha said their statements constituted a joint call to Russia, adding, “This is a united call on Russia to stop its aggression and choose peace.”
