Military activity continues in Gaza and the West Bank
Ramallah, January 13 (Hibya) – As Israeli military operations continue in Gaza and the West Bank with casualties and mass detentions, the agricultural sector in the West Bank has suffered damage exceeding $103 million as a result of attacks by Israeli forces and settlers.
According to CCTV, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Monday that three militants who crossed the “yellow line” of the military ceasefire were killed during operations in the southern Gaza Strip.
On the same day, the Palestinian Ministry of Interior in the Gaza Strip announced that the head of the Khan Younis police investigation unit, Mahmoud Al-Astal, was shot dead.
According to a report by the official Palestinian news agency, Israeli forces continued raids in the West Bank and around Jerusalem, detaining more than 20 Palestinians and wounding one person.
In some areas, homes were searched, roadblocks were set up and agricultural lands were destroyed. It was reported that numerous Jewish settlers, under Israeli military protection, entered Palestinian farmlands, damaged olive trees and attacked shepherds while attempting to seize livestock, leading to clashes with local residents.
