Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a phone call with Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani.

It was stated that during the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral cooperation relations and evaluated steps aimed at strengthening these relations.

The meeting also addressed regional developments, especially the ceasefire between the United States (US) and Iran, and efforts to reduce tensions in order to enhance security and stability in the region.

The parties emphasized that crises should be resolved through peaceful means and that all sides should adopt a positive approach toward mediation efforts.
