Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov stated that he held a comprehensive phone call with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, Hakan Fidan.

“We discussed the priorities of our expanding bilateral and regional cooperation,” said Saidov, noting that they evaluated practical mechanisms to ensure the implementation of agreements reached at the highest levels and exchanged views on upcoming joint activities.

He also noted that they addressed the situation in the Middle East and emphasized that existing issues can only be resolved through dialogue and diplomatic means, adding: “We agreed to increase our joint efforts to further strengthen our strategic partnership and fully realize its potential.”
