Saar: I call on the UN Security Council to strongly condemn Hezbollah
Jerusalem, March 25 (Hibya) - Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar shared the toll of Hezbollah’s attacks against Israel and called on the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to designate the group as a terrorist organization and condemn it.
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar made a statement regarding the attacks carried out by Hezbollah and the resulting casualties.
Highlighting the intensity of the attacks ongoing since March 2, Saar said: “Hezbollah has launched more than 3,500 rockets, unmanned aerial vehicles and drones at Israel indiscriminately.”
Referring to the humanitarian consequences of the attacks, Saar said: “Just yesterday, 27-year-old Nuriel Dubin was killed as a result of a Hezbollah missile attack.”
Calling on the international community and the UN Security Council, Saar stated: “I call on the UN Security Council to strongly condemn Hezbollah and to designate this Iranian terror proxy as a terrorist organization.”
