Mixed but mostly positive trend in global bond markets
Istanbul, July 14 (Hibya) – Global bond markets showed a mixed but predominantly positive performance on the trading day of the week.
Global bond markets posted a mixed but predominantly positive performance on the trading day of the week. While yields on 10-year government bonds in the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, and France increased, Japan's 10-year government bond yield declined.
The yield on the U.S. 10-year Treasury bond (US 10-YR) rose by 0.012 percentage points to 4.622 percent. Germany's 10-year Bund yield (Bund 10-YR) gained 0.0216 percentage points to reach 3.0928 percent.
Japan's 10-year government bond yield (JPN 10-YR) fell by 0.051 percentage points to 2.738 percent, while the UK's 10-year government bond yield (UK 10-YR) increased by 0.0387 percentage points to 5.0101 percent.
France's 10-year government bond yield (FRA 10-YR) also rose by 0.0284 percentage points to 3.9024 percent.
