Mixed outlook in European stock markets
Istanbul, May 19 (Hibya) - European markets showed a mixed performance on the first trading day of the week. While the British stock market recorded gains, Italian markets declined.
The STOXX Europe 600 index, which tracks European markets, remained flat at 610.17 points. In Germany, the DAX index displayed a balanced performance at 24,307.92 points.
In the United Kingdom, the FTSE 100 index rose by 1.26 percent to 10,323.75 points. In France, the CAC 40 index moved sideways at 7,987.49 points.
In Italy, the FTSE MIB index fell by 0.91 percent to 48,669.05 points.
