Precious metals rose during the trading day in commodity markets, while sharp declines drew attention in energy commodities.

The ounce price of gold in August futures increased by 0.95 percent to $4,599.60. Silver gained 2.65 percent in July futures contracts, reaching $78.220.

On the industrial metals side, copper prices also followed a positive trend. The July copper contract rose by 0.88 percent and traded at $6.4350.

In energy markets, selling pressure stood out. The July WTI Crude Oil contract fell by 5.93 percent to $90.87, while the August Brent Oil contract declined by 5.50 percent to $94.70.

Natural gas prices decreased by 0.86 percent to $2.995, while heating oil prices fell by 4.10 percent. The RBOB contract, which reflects gasoline prices, also lost 4.93 percent.

Limited movements were observed in agricultural commodities. U.S. soybean prices remained flat, while U.S. wheat prices posted a 0.12 percent increase.
