Mucunski met with representatives of EU member states in COELA
Skopje, March 23 (Hibya) - North Macedonia’s Foreign Minister Timco Mucunski met with representatives of the EU Council Working Group (COELA), emphasizing the government’s commitment to concrete reform results and a merit-based accession process.
North Macedonia’s Foreign Minister Timco Mucunski made a statement regarding his meeting with members of the European Union Council Working Group on Enlargement and Countries Negotiating Accession to the EU (COELA).
Sharing the main agenda items of the meeting, Mucunski said: "This morning, I met with representatives of EU Member States in the EU Council Working Group on Enlargement and Accession Negotiations (COELA)."
Presenting the vision of the North Macedonian government, Mucunski stated: "We reaffirmed our commitment to the European path by focusing on achieving concrete reform results and full alignment with EU standards. We presented progress on the reform agenda and ongoing institutional coordination."
Highlighting the nature of the negotiation process, Mucunski added: "We underlined the need for an open, predictable and merit-based accession process as a common interest."
