Negative sentiment dominates US stock markets
Istanbul, August 11 (Hibya) - US markets saw a selling trend during the week's trading session.
US markets were dominated by a downward trend during the week's trading session. All major indices recorded losses, with the most notable decline seen in the Russell 2000 index.
The Russell 2000 (RUSS 2K) index, which tracks small-cap companies, fell 0.56 percent to 3,017.397 points. The Nasdaq 100 index declined 0.34 percent to 29,621.804 points, while the Nasdaq index lost 0.32 percent to trade at 26,605.357 points.
The Dow Jones (DJIA) index fell 0.11 percent to 53,975.98 points, while the S&P 500 ended the day at 7,753.11 points with a limited loss of 0.06 percent.
