Precious metals post strong gains amid buying momentum
Istanbul, August 11 (Hibya) - Precious and industrial metals markets posted a strong performance driven by buying during the week's trading session.
Precious metals markets were dominated by an upward trend globally during the week's trading session. All monitored commodities recorded gains, with the most notable increase seen in gold prices.
Gold (GOLD) prices rose 1.28 percent to $4,476.10, while silver (SILVER) gained 1.08 percent to trade at $65.975.
Platinum (PLATINUM) rose 0.82 percent to $1,768.00, while palladium (PALLADIUM) gained 0.80 percent to reach $1,392.50.
Copper (COPPER) prices increased 0.57 percent to $6.6535.
