Netanyahu: We will not tolerate a Turkish military presence that threatens Israel
Tel Aviv, August 19 (Hibya) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu commented on the Turkish military presence in Syria, saying Israel would not tolerate any formation that could pose a threat.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu commented on military and regional developments in Syria, highlighting his country's security and intervention policy.
Speaking about the Turkish military presence in the region, Netanyahu said: “We will never tolerate a Turkish military formation in Syria that threatens Israel.”
Claiming that his warnings had not been heeded, Netanyahu concluded his remarks by saying: “We conveyed our message clearly: Don't do it. Apparently, they did not understand it well enough, so we made sure they understood it better.”
