New ALTAY Main Battle Tank: Planned production of 8 units per month in the first phase
Ankara, February 24 (Hibya) - The construction of the factory where the mass production of the new ALTAY Main Battle Tank will take place is ongoing.
In the first phase of mass production, it is planned to produce 8 ALTAY tanks per month. Additionally, 10 units of ALTUĞ 8x8 are also scheduled for production. A total of 250 ALTAY tanks will be produced in the first phase, with 8 tanks per month allocated to the Turkish Armed Forces.
