Pakistan Prime Minister Sharif meets Nepal Prime Minister Shah
Islamabad, August 28 (Hibya) - Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with Nepal Prime Minister Balendra Shah and extended his condolences over the loss of life caused by recent flash floods and landslides.
Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said in a statement that he met with Nepal Prime Minister Balendra Shah and conveyed his condolences over the loss of life and widespread destruction caused by the recent flash floods and landslides.
Sharif said Pakistan stood in full solidarity with the government and people of Nepal during this difficult period. He added that he had conveyed Pakistan’s full support to Nepal Prime Minister Shah and announced that Pakistan would send emergency relief assistance to contribute to the ongoing relief efforts.
