Pakistani Foreign Minister Dar holds phone call with Araghchi
Islamabad, June 1 (Hibya) - Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi to discuss regional developments and issues of mutual interest.
According to a statement issued by Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar spoke with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
During the conversation, the regional situation, developments in Lebanon, and ceasefire violations were discussed. It was reported that Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi expressed concerns regarding Israel's ceasefire violations in Lebanon and possible decisions to launch attacks on certain areas of Beirut.
The statement noted that the Pakistani side also emphasized the importance of maintaining the ceasefire, and both parties agreed to remain in close contact regarding efforts to reduce regional tensions.
