Albares: 71 people evacuated from Venezuela aboard Spanish aircraft
Madrid, June 26 (Hibya) – Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares announced that a total of 71 people had been evacuated from Venezuela aboard a Spanish government aircraft.
Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares said that an aircraft belonging to Spain's Ministry of Defence had departed from Venezuela for the Dominican Republic.
Minister Albares stated, “The Ministry of Defence aircraft sent to deliver Spanish assistance has departed from Venezuela for the Dominican Republic. On board are 59 Spanish citizens, along with 11 Portuguese nationals and one Bulgarian national. Our Embassy in Venezuela, our Consulate General in Caracas, and our Embassy in the Dominican Republic are operating at full capacity.”
