Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar made a statement regarding the evacuation of the Iranian crew, the diplomatic contacts carried out, and Pakistan's role in the repatriation efforts.

Referring to the crew's situation and the ongoing cooperation, Dar said: "I am pleased to share that the 22 Iranian crew members of the vessel Lenore/Davina, recently detained by U.S. authorities, arrived safely in Karachi this afternoon. Arrangements are now being finalized in close coordination with the Iranian missions in Pakistan to facilitate their return home at the earliest opportunity."

Emphasizing the diplomatic dimension of the process and the humanitarian cooperation between the two countries, Dar added: "We remained in close contact with both U.S. and Iranian authorities throughout this process. This is the fourth group of Iranian crew members whose repatriation has been facilitated by Pakistan over the past two months. So far, we have helped repatriate more than seventy of our Iranian brothers through Pakistani territory."
