Tsahkna: Ukraine's closer integration makes Europe even stronger
Tallinn, June 26 (Hibya) – Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna reiterated his country's clear message at the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2026), stating that decisive steps must be taken to accelerate Ukraine's accession process to the European Union.
Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna addressed Ukraine's European integration process, the shared security architecture, and strategic economic opportunities.
Commenting on the conference panel, Tsahkna said: "Estonia's message is clear: Ukraine belongs in the European Union, and we must take decisive steps now to accelerate its accession process."
Emphasizing the continent-wide impact of integration, Tsahkna stated: "A Ukraine firmly anchored in the European family is not only essential for strengthening our common security, but also a strategic opportunity to enhance Europe's economy and resilience. Ukraine's closer integration makes Europe even stronger."
