Pakistani Foreign Minister Dar met with his Iranian counterpart
Istanbul, June 22 (Hibya) – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar met with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi in Istanbul.
Dar stated that he met with Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi on the sidelines of the 51st Islamic Cooperation Organization (OIC) Summit being held in Istanbul.
He noted that his Iranian counterpart shared Iran’s perspective on the evolving regional situation and said:
“I reiterated Pakistan’s strong condemnation of Israel’s unjust and illegal attacks on Iran, as well as the U.S. strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities. We reaffirmed our unwavering support for Iran’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and its right to self-defense under the UN Charter.”
