The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates reported that the attacks are constantly erasing families from the population registry.

The ministry's statement read:

"The protection of civilians and the return of the Gaza Strip to Palestinian legitimacy is a real test for all parties that claim to be concerned with humanity and a two-state solution. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates calls on the international community and countries to pay due attention to the reports published by reliable international and UN organizations regarding the dimensions of the deepening humanitarian disaster affecting our people. The cause of this disaster is Israel's bombardment of civilians, including attacks on refugee camps in the Muwasi area, west of Khan Yunis, which Israel has declared a 'safe zone,' including the mass killings of civilians. These attacks are constantly erasing families from the population registry, and methods such as starvation, deprivation of water, and blocking access to treatment are being used as tools of genocide."
