Palestine denies reports of talks with Israel
Ramallah, July 14 (Hibya) – The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs denied reports that a Palestine-Israel meeting was held in Brussels.
In a statement, it was reported that Ambassador Dr. Ahmed el-Deek, political advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, denied that any meeting with the Israeli Foreign Minister was on the agenda during Minister Dr. Farsin Agabakian's visit to Brussels.
The statement urged some media outlets and social media platforms to exercise accuracy and caution when spreading rumors and seeking information and facts from official sources.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates confirmed that the Minister would attend a joint meeting today, chaired by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, with the participation of foreign ministers from the EU and Mediterranean neighboring countries.
