Palestinian Foreign Ministry strongly condemns settler attacks
Ramallah, June 15 (Hibya) - The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the attacks on the town of Deir Dibwan, east of Ramallah, as "acts of terrorism" and called on the international community to intervene urgently.
In a statement, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned settler attacks targeting the town of Deir Dibwan in the West Bank.
The statement said that several Palestinian-owned vehicles and plots of land were set on fire during the attacks, alleging that the incidents were "part of organized violence and systematic attack policies."
The ministry argued that impunity for such actions encourages further attacks and stressed that the international community must take more effective measures.
The statement also called on international organizations, particularly the United Nations and the United Nations Security Council, to ensure that those responsible are held accountable under international law and that the incidents be treated as "organized terrorism."
The Palestinian side further emphasized the need to activate international protection mechanisms for civilians.
