Preparations for OIC Women Ministers Conference reviewed in Pakistan
Islamabad, April 30 (Hibya) - Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar reviewed preparations ahead of the OIC Women Ministers Conference to be held in July.
Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting to review preparations for the 9th Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Women Ministers Conference, which Pakistan will host on July 12–13, 2026.
During the meeting, the current status of the preparation process was discussed, and Dar expressed satisfaction with the progress made. He instructed all relevant ministries and institutions to continue taking necessary steps to ensure the event is held efficiently and successfully.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Law and Justice and the Minister of Information Technology, along with senior officials. Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Bajwa, Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch, secretaries of the Cabinet and Human Rights divisions, the Permanent Representative to the OIC, and representatives from the Ministry of Finance, Interior, and other relevant institutions were also present.
