Prevot: Belgium ready to support Colombia
Brussels, August 10 (Hibya) - Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Prevot said they are closely monitoring developments following the earthquake that struck western Colombia and was also felt in Ecuador and Panama, announcing that Belgium is ready to provide support if needed.

Prevot said Belgium is closely monitoring developments and that the crisis center in Brussels continues its work regarding the situation. He added that the Belgian Embassy in Bogota is also ready to support Belgian citizens in need of assistance.
Prevot said Belgium is ready to contribute if the European Civil Protection Mechanism is activated, adding that they will also support the United Nations' humanitarian relief efforts.
