Prevot: These attacks must stop, civilians must be protected wherever they are
Brussels, October 8 (Hibya) - Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Prevot condemned the latest Houthi attacks against Saudi Arabia and expressed his country's solidarity with Saudi Arabia.
Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Prevot issued a statement regarding the latest Houthi attacks against Saudi Arabia.
Prevot emphasized Belgium's solidarity with Saudi Arabia, stating: "I strongly condemn these unacceptable attacks on Saudi Arabia's sovereignty and civilian infrastructure."
Addressing the families of those killed and those injured in the attacks, Prevot said: "My thoughts are with the families of all those who lost their lives, of all nationalities, and with the injured."
Prevot also noted that the situation in Yemen has caused a severe humanitarian crisis, reporting that more than 200,000 people have been displaced due to renewed fighting.
Prevot stated: "These attacks must stop. Civilians must be protected wherever they are. The region urgently needs de-escalation, humanitarian assistance and a return to diplomacy."
