Washington, October 9 (Hibya) - US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said in his assessment of the West's future that decisions made over the next decade would determine the course of the coming century.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio commented on the future of the West in a statement.
Rubio stated: "Today we stand at a crossroads because the next decade and the decisions we make will write the story of the next century."
Saying that the path chosen would determine whether the West maintains its leading position in the world, Rubio stated: "The path we choose will determine whether the West maintains its place at the head of the world or surrenders itself to a future filled with decline, submission and collapse."
Rubio emphasized that a decision to act must now be made, stating: "Either we choose to act now, or we will lose the option to act altogether."
Rubio said the United States had made its decision under the Donald Trump administration, stating: "Under President Trump, the United States of America has made its choice."
