Trump: The once-great state of Minnesota is being taken over by immigrants
Washington, October 9 (Hibya) - US President Donald Trump criticized Minnesota's leadership in remarks targeting Somali immigrants in the state, alleging that violence and murders were taking place and calling on state officials to seek assistance from the federal government.
US President Donald Trump publicly shared his remarks regarding Somali immigrants in Minnesota.
Trump stated: "The once-great state of Minnesota is being taken over by Somali immigrants. There is violence, murder and chaos throughout the state. The people of Minnesota must fight back. You have been robbed and abandoned by your state government."
Criticizing Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, Trump said: "Your governor is an incompetent thief who doesn't want to get involved. All he wants is to take as much as he can steal, leave town and then live a quiet life."
Arguing that Somalis should not be allowed to get away with their actions, Trump stated: "They see you as weak and stupid people. Minnesota, fight back! Fight back! If you need help, the federal government will come to your aid."
Trump also called on Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey to immediately request assistance from the federal government, saying: "Leave the rest to us."
