Putin: Global diesel prices fell by 5–6% after we announced oil shipments
Moscow, October 21 (Hibya) - Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that global diesel prices fell by 5–6% following the announcement that oil would be shipped to the United States.
In a social media post by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs featuring Putin's remarks, the Russian leader was quoted as saying, "When we announced that oil shipments would be made to the United States, global diesel prices immediately fell by 5–6%."
Stating that preparations for the shipments were ongoing, Putin said, "We are currently preparing the shipments, with several tankers being readied simultaneously."
