Qatar condemns targeting of WFP aid convoy in Sudan
Doha, February 8 (Hibya) – Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the targeting of an aid convoy operated by the World Food Programme (WFP) in North Kordofan State of the Republic of Sudan.
Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the targeting of the World Food Programme (WFP) aid convoy in North Kordofan State of the Republic of Sudan, describing it as a grave violation of the principles of international humanitarian law.
The ministry stressed the urgent need to protect humanitarian workers and to ensure the sustainable delivery of assistance to those in need within the country.
It also reiterated its call to unite regional and global efforts to end the war through peaceful means.
