Qatar hosts Somali delegation
Doha, Jan. 12 (Hibya) – Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi discussed cooperation and regional developments with the Special Representative of the President of Somalia, Farah Sheikh Abdulkadir Mohammed, and the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Ali Mohammed Omar.
During the meeting held on Monday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Doha, Minister of State Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi hosted the Special Representative of the President of Somalia, Mohammed, and the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Omar.
The meeting reviewed ways to strengthen and support cooperation relations between the two countries, as well as the latest developments in the region and issues of mutual interest.
Minister of State Al-Khulaifi reiterated Qatar’s support for the sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of Somalia, stressing the importance of preserving Somalia’s security and stability.
