Qatar welcomes SDF's integration into the new Syrian administration
Doha, March 11 (Hibya) – The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Qatar welcomes the agreement that includes the integration of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) into the institutions of the Syrian Arab Republic.
In a statement, the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: "Qatar welcomes the agreement integrating the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) into the institutions of the Syrian Arab Republic. This step is considered an important measure to enhance civil peace, increase security and stability, and build a state based on institutions and the rule of law."
The Ministry also emphasized the necessity of a state that holds a monopoly on the use of force through a unified army representing all Syrian components while preserving the country’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity.
The statement added: "The Ministry also reaffirms the State of Qatar’s full support for Syria’s sovereignty and the aspirations of its brotherly people for freedom, development, and prosperity."
