Qatar's Permanent Representative to the UN, Al Thani, met with the UN Special Envoy for Syria, Pedersen
New York, January 30 (Hibya) – The Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations, Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al Thani, met with the United Nations Special Envoy for Syria, Geir Pedersen.
Qatar’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Al Thani, met with the UN Special Envoy for Syria, Pedersen.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that the State of Qatar continues to support the efforts of the UN Special Envoy's Office for Syria in facilitating a comprehensive political process led by Syria.
Al Thani reiterated Qatar's firm stance on supporting the choices of the brotherly Syrian people and providing all possible assistance to help them achieve their aspirations for progress and prosperity.
