Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived in Beijing
Stockholm, May 16 (Hibya) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived in Beijing and to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday.
This is Putin's first visit abroad since taking office for his fifth presidential term.
Putin was then welcomed with a grand ceremony in front of the Great Hall of the People on the west side of Tiananmen Square in Beijing.
The visit comes at a time when Chinese companies have come under harsh criticism, particularly from the United States, for contributing to Russian production that could be used during the war in Ukraine.
