Leaders of Azerbaijan, Türkiye and Pakistan visit Lachin
Lachin, May 28 (Hibya) – President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif visited the promenade in the city of Lachin.
During the visit, Erdoğan and Sharif were informed that on May 28, two years ago, President Aliyev had handed over house keys to the first resettled former refugee families in that area.
The leaders were also introduced to a fair showcasing the products of various businesses operating in Lachin, including the “Lachin” Agro-Industrial Park, “PIRSHAGHI” shoe factory, the Lachin branch of the “Gilabi Seramik” Creativity Center, and the “LATIFA” clothing factory. Also on display were products from “Baku Landscaping Service”, an aromatic oil production plant, the “Nakışlı” sewing house, the Animal Breeding Center in Lachin, and the “Hakari” fishery enterprise.
The event was held in honor of Azerbaijan’s Independence Day, celebrated on May 28.
