Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Palestinian Foreign Minister Varsen Aghabekian Şahin met in Jeddah with Morocco’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and Permanent Representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Mustafa El Mansouri.

According to the ministry’s statement, the meeting addressed developments concerning the Palestinian issue, the situation in Gaza and Jerusalem, and ways to strengthen joint action by the Arab and Islamic world to support the Palestinian people and ensure that they remain on their land.

Şahin said that the Palestinian people remain attached to their land and will not accept forced displacement, adding that Palestinians need the support of the Arab and Islamic world to remain on their land amid the ongoing starvation, destruction and violations in Gaza.

Drawing attention to the seriousness of the situation in Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque, Şahin said that merely condemning measures targeting the city was not enough and that concrete and effective steps needed to be taken.

Şahin called on Morocco to continue its efforts to protect Jerusalem in line with the position and role of King Mohammed VI as Chairman of the Jerusalem Committee, stressing that on the Palestinian issue it was necessary to move from statements to concrete joint political action and action on the ground.
