Saidov speaks with Saudi Foreign Minister Al Saud
Tashkent, March 2 (Hibya) – Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bahtiyor Saidov held a phone call with Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.
During the call, Saidov discussed the rising tensions in the region with his Saudi counterpart.
“During the conversation, we thoroughly addressed the complex situation in the Middle East and exchanged views on its impact on security and economic stability,” Saidov said.
He added that he conveyed a message of solidarity from the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to the leadership and people of Saudi Arabia.
Saidov emphasized the need to strengthen diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions, build trust, and ensure peace and stability in the region.
