Sanchez: Iran must immediately halt repression against peaceful protests
Madrid, January 13 (Hibya) – Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez announced that Iran’s Ambassador to Spain was summoned to the ministry to demand respect for the fundamental rights of the Iranian people.
Spanish Prime Minister Sanchez stressed that Iran must stop its repression of peaceful protests, arbitrary detentions, and restrictions on freedom of expression.
Condemning violence against protesters, Sanchez said, “We summoned Iran’s Ambassador to Spain to demand respect for the fundamental rights of all Iranians.”
