Budva, October 21 (Hibya) - Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajic announced that his country had accelerated its European Union (EU) accession process over the past three years and discussed the next steps toward concluding negotiations with the European Commission.
Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajic stated that his country had made significant progress on its European path over the past three years, noting that such performance would be difficult to replicate.
Spajic said they were completing the negotiation process with the EU at an extremely important time for both the Union and Montenegro, emphasizing that the European Commission had provided them with steadfast support throughout the process.
Spajic noted that ahead of the summit held within the framework of the Berlin Process, they met in Budva with European Commissioner Marta Kos and her team and confirmed the next steps toward their shared goal of EU membership by 2028.
