Sybiha and Finnish foreign minister discuss peace process in Warsaw
Warsaw, November 6 (Hibya) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha met with Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen in Warsaw, the capital of Poland. The meeting focused on the peace process, the next round of negotiations, Europe's role in the process and potential future security guarantees for Ukraine.
Sybiha said they had exchanged views following Valtonen's visit to Washington last week, stating, "We focused on the peace process, the next round of talks and Europe's role. We also discussed potential future security guarantees for Ukraine."
Sybiha said he had provided an update on the latest situation on the front line and the consequences of Russia's attacks. "Moscow continues to choose terror, targeting our energy system and civilians. Strengthening Ukraine's air defenses ahead of winter is critically important," he said.
Sybiha thanked Finland for its continued defense support and its contributions to Ukraine's energy resilience and civilian protection capacity. "Thank you, Elina, for your principled stance and for standing with Ukraine," he stated.
