Sybiha discusses peace process with the UAE
Abu Dhabi, November 6 (Hibya) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha discussed peace efforts and regional security issues during a meeting with United Arab Emirates (UAE) Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha announced that he had held a productive meeting with UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan. In a social media post, Sybiha stated that they had exchanged views on the future of peace efforts ahead of the meeting scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi.
Thanking the UAE for its important role in advancing the peace process, Sybiha reiterated Ukraine's position on ending the war. Sybiha stated that Ukraine remained open to various solutions aimed at achieving a ceasefire and reducing tensions.
The meeting also addressed regional and global security challenges, freedom of navigation and cooperation with international organizations.
