Sybiha meets with his Polish counterpart Sikorski
Kyiv, July 23 (Hibya) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha announced that during his meeting with Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, they discussed Russia's attacks on civilian vessels in the Black Sea, Ukraine's European Union (EU) accession process, and sanctions against Russia.
In a post on social media, Sybiha said they discussed the intensification of Russia's attacks on civilian vessels in the Black Sea and their impact on global food security.
Sybiha noted that they also discussed Ukraine's EU accession process and thanked Poland for its support in opening negotiation Chapters 1 and 6. He also welcomed the adoption of the 21st sanctions package against Russia.
Sybiha said he briefed his Polish counterpart on Russia's recent large-scale attacks against Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities, and that they exchanged views on the need to further increase pressure on Russia.
Sybiha also thanked Poland for the support it has provided to Ukraine since the first day of Russia's full-scale invasion.
