Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated in his announcement: "Ukraine has evacuated a group of people from Gaza."

He noted that, by order of President Volodymyr Zelensky, 48 Ukrainian citizens—including 14 women and 16 children—along with 9 Palestinians were successfully evacuated from Gaza, and added:

"The evacuation was carried out in an active combat zone, and two evacuees, a 26-year-old Ukrainian and a 58-year-old Palestinian, were injured. Medical specialists from HUR provided the necessary assistance. The evacuation plane reached Chișinău, and the group will continue their journey home from there. We congratulate them on their safe return."
