Syrian President Al-Sharaa meets delegation of Syrian diaspora in US
Damascus, September 22 (Hibya) – Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa received a delegation from the Syrian diaspora in the United States (US) during his visit to New York to attend the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

According to a statement by the Syrian Presidency, Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Minister Asaad Al-Shaibani, Emergency and Disaster Management Minister Raed Al-Saleh, and a number of officials also attended the meeting.
The meeting addressed the latest developments in Syria, significant achievements made recently, and the reconstruction and recovery process. Al-Sharaa also listened to the participants’ views and proposals on various issues.
Emphasizing the importance of the Syrian diaspora’s role in strengthening and developing Syria-US relations, Al-Sharaa highlighted the importance of benefiting from the experience and expertise of Syrians living abroad, as well as their contribution to reconstruction and development efforts.
