Syrian President Sharaa receives MIT Director Kalin
Damascus, May 19 (Hibya) - According to a statement shared by the Presidency of the Syrian Arab Republic, President Ahmed al-Sharaa received Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MIT) Director Ibrahim Kalin at the People’s Palace in Damascus.
Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani and General Intelligence Director Hussein al-Salameh were also present at the meeting.
During the meeting, the latest developments in the region were evaluated. In addition, possible ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between Türkiye and Syria were discussed.
